The Bride

Amy is an attorney practicing international trade law at King & Spalding. She grew up in Cottage Grove, MN. Despite Jay's assertions that they have polar bears as pets in Minnesota, Amy actually grew up with a dog. After graduating high school Amy went to St. Olaf College where she majored in political science and philosophy. While at St. Olaf, Amy participated in a study abroad program that took her to Hong Kong, China, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand.  After college, she spent a year in Boston doing her first year of law school at New England School of Law. Amy really wanted to practice international law, however, and thought Washington D.C. was a better place to do that, so she transferred to American University to finish her JD. Amy loves international travel, dancing, trying her hand at cooking Indian food, camping and canoeing, and spending time with Jay and her daschunds Otis and Kofi.
